A chimney top salvaged from the Kennedy’s first home in Hyannis Port, repurposed as a light fixture and embellished with a panoramic painting of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

This chimney top was salvaged from the first Kennedy home on Cape Cod, “The Big House”, purchased by Joe and Rose Kennedy in 1929. Scott Feen of Atlantic Workshop acquired this artifact and repurposed it as a lamp. The lamp holds a panoramic painting by Isabelle Quinn depicting the Cape Cod National Seashore, land that was officially protected in a bill signed by President John F. Kennedy in 1961.

The Kennedy Lamp is part of a growing collection of collaborative artworks by Atlantic Workshop and driftshop by Isabelle Quinn.
